Materials

Four materials, chosen slowly.

We audit every supplier in person, hold each material to a ten-year wear simulation, and publish the results. If a material can’t age gracefully, it doesn’t get in.

Certified oak

Slow-grown, quarter-sawn, and dried for eleven months before a single cut. Finished with hard-wax oil you can re-apply yourself.

Full-grain leather

Vegetable-tanned aniline hides that mark, soften, and improve. No pigment coat, no plastic feel — a patina you earn.

Recycled aluminium

Ninety-one percent post-consumer content, sand-cast and powder-coated. Infinitely recyclable when the piece finally retires — decades from now.

Undyed wool bouclé

Woven from naturally cream and oat fleeces, so nothing fades. Removable covers, and replacements available for twelve years.

Every batch ships with a signed material passport — where it grew, who built it, how to repair it.

Our story

Made once, made properly.

Arcform started with a returned sofa. Our founders watched a two-year-old piece head to landfill because repairing it cost more than replacing it — and decided the economics of furniture were broken, not the customers.

So we inverted the model. A permanent collection instead of seasons. Batches of forty instead of container-loads. Three partner workshops we visit every quarter, sixty-one craftspeople we know by name, and a repair program that treats year ten like day one.

We grow slower this way. Our furniture doesn’t.
