Studio Ozan — Multidisciplinary design practice
We build identity systems, typefaces, packaging and motion for brands that would rather be argued about than ignored. 87 projects. 23 countries. Zero committees.

A functional soda that tasted loud and looked apologetic. We rebuilt the identity around one rule: legible across a parking lot. New wordmark, can architecture, and a launch campaign with zero stock photography.
+212% shelf pickup in blind aisle tests
A variable typeface commissioned by a streaming platform that needed one voice across 14 scripts and 40 markets. Nine weights, two optical sizes, and a display cut sharp enough to carry a billboard alone.
Licensed in 40+ countries
Identity and wayfinding for a 120,000-person electronic music festival across six stages and one very confusing forest. A signage system readable at night, at distance, and in most states of mind.
Signage complaints down 84% year over year
A twelve-sleeve vinyl series for an independent label — one sleeve a month, one system, twelve rule-breaks. Screen-printed in two inks because budgets are a design constraint, not an excuse.
Three pressings sold out
Naming, wordmarks, logo systems and guidelines people actually open. Built to survive interns, agencies and your next three rebrand meetings.
Custom and variable typefaces, from a single display cut to a nine-weight family. Hinting, licensing and rollout support included.
Shelf-loud packaging, editorial design and everything ink touches. We speak fluent die-line and argue with printers so you don't have to.
Brand motion languages, product animation and title sequences. If your logo can't move, it's a sticker, not a system.
Campaigns, shoots and the professional taste to say no. We direct photographers, illustrators and 3D artists against a single visual argument.
Wayfinding, retail and festival environments at any scale — from a pop-up the size of a parking bay to a six-stage site plan.
We ask the questions your last agency was too polite to. One week, one sharp strategy document, no fluff and no forty-slide deck.
Week 1Three directions pushed past comfortable. Real mockups on real surfaces — cans, screens, street posters — never mood boards.
Weeks 2–4We break the system before the world does: tiny sizes, hostile surfaces, other alphabets, dark rooms, bad printers.
Weeks 5–6Files, guidelines, governance. We stay on call through launch — and we will absolutely notice if someone stretches the logo.
Week 7+Most design is wallpaper. It fills space, offends no one and is forgotten by lunch. We think a brand should behave more like a person with an opinion — consistent, a little unreasonable and impossible to mistake for anyone else.
Studio Ozan is deliberately small: two partners, a rotating bench of specialist collaborators, and no account managers between you and the people doing the work. We take six engagements a year and finish every one of them personally.
We work with founders who are betting the company on being noticed, and with large teams who are tired of looking like their category. Both get the same treatment: hard questions, loud prototypes, shipped systems.
Ozan redrew our identity in seven weeks and it did more for pipeline than the entire previous year of advertising. I've stopped explaining what we do at conferences — the booth does it.
Tell us what you're making and what's in the way. We take on six new engagements per year and reply to every serious brief — usually with questions.
We reply within 48 hours — usually with questions. Watch your inbox for a note from one of the partners, not an autoresponder.
